A Life Imprisoned at Home: Walls Close In
The walls of my home were always like a haven. Now they constrict, a constant symbol of my confined existence. Days run into each other, marked only by the click of the timepiece and the dull ache in my chest. Every noise from outside is a sharp pang of the life I left behind.

Living on Lockdown
Life as we knew it has drastically altered. The world beyond our doors is a ghost of its former self. We are now confined within the limits of our homes, forced to conform to a new normal. The days blend, marked by the cycle of online meetings, consuming media, and cooking. We long for the simple pleasures that were once assumed for granted: a stroll in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a chat without a screen amidst us.
This new world has forced challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected qualities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more understanding, more resourceful, and more thankful for the simple things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are coming.
Freedom's Six-Foot Line
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable chain. The world outside seems so reachable, yet it's separated by just that symbolic distance of six feet.
Sometimes, the weight of those bars feels insurmountable. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a stark reality that you're trapped.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a spark of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Chains of Liberty
The allure for freedom can be an enticing force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to confinement. This manifests when the very notion for freedom becomes twisted, transforming into a tool for control and oppression.
Authentic freedom requires not only the absence with external constraints but also the development of internal strength. When this inner base is lacking, even within a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the limitations of their own beliefs.
Finally, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to break free the barriers that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
